qualifications:
Qualifications
? Education and License:
o High School Diploma or GED.
o Graduation from a vocational nursing program approved by the Texas Board of Nursing
(TBON).
o Valid Texas LVN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
? Certifications:
o Current CPR and AED certificates.
o Additional certifications like First Aid, Vision/Hearing/Spinal Screening, and Acanthosis
Nigricans screening may be preferred or required by some districts.
? Knowledge and Skills:
o Knowledge of basic first aid and school health protocols.
o Proficiency in keyboarding, file maintenance, and using software for word processing
and databases.
o Ability to write reports and correspondence, along with strong organizational,
communication, and interpersonal skills.
